Feener Appointed Executive Director

Dave Feener is the new executive director of Softball Newfoundland Labrador. His appointment was made by provincial softball president Gary Corbett of Holyrood.

Feener will work out of the Softball NL office (phone number 709-576-3418) in the Sport Newfoundland office building, 1296A Kenmount Road, Paradise, A1L 1N3 on a daily basis from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 12-noon and 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

“We are very fortunate to have obtained an individual with the background and expertise that Dave Feener possesses” Corbett said, and advised that “any aspect of softball within Newfoundland Labrador should be discussed with Dave Feener”.

Feener possesses an extensive and impressive background in sport and recreation.

It includes:

  • Sport and Recreation and Physical Activity Consultant, Provincial Government Department of Seniors, Wellness and Social Development
  • Recreation Instructor, Happy Valley-Goose Bay Labrador Community College
  • Physical Education Teacher, Eastport Terra Nova District
