Player Movement Policy (U23)

Softball Newfoundland Labrador recognizes the significance and importance of the U23 Provincial Teams to the success and survival of future Senior Provincial Teams.

The Player Movement Policy with respect to the U23 Provincial Teams states the following:

That the U23 Provincial Teams have the first right of refusal to any player Under 23, that players selected become “property” of the U23 Provincial Teams and that they can only participate with the U23 Provincial Teams if the team is participating in the Senior League. If the U23 Provincial Teams decide to release a player for any reason then that player would be given the opportunity to sign or participate with another team in the Senior League.
