Stack Receives Invitation
Local Attending 2015 Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp
Softball NL is extremely proud to announce that Mitch Stack (Petty Harbour, NL) has been invited to attend the 2015 Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp. The camp runs from today (Monday, August 17) to Thursday, August 20 in Fredericton, NB.
Stack is among 24 athletes selected from across Canada that has been invited to attend the Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp this week in Fredericton, NB. The Development Camp will allow the coaching staff to identify and train potential athletes for the 2016 WBSC Junior Men’s World Softball Championship, which will take place July 22-30, 2016 in Midland, Michigan. A Final Selection Camp will take place in June, 2016 prior to the World Championship.

Mitch Stack is a member of the Rob Roy Intermediate Men’s Fastpitch Team that participates in the Molson St. John’s Intermediate Men’s Fastpitch League, is a member of The Dance Academy Dodgers Senior Men’s Fastpitch Team that participates in the Molson St. John’s Senior Men’s Fastpitch League and was also a member of the U18 Newfoundland Labrador Selects Men’s Fastpitch Team that recently participated in the 2015 U18 Men’s Canadian Fastpitch Championship in Fredericton, NB. Stack was named to the All-Star Team (SS) at the 2015 U18 Men’s Canadian Fastpitch Championship.

2015 Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp

Softball Canada is pleased to announce the list of athletes who have been invited to participate in a Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp this week in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Three Regional Identification Camps were held earlier this summer, and the coaching staff invited the players listed below following the recent completion of the U18 Men’s Canadian Championship held in Fredericton, NB. The camp begins today and will run until the morning of Thursday, August 20.
The Development Camp will allow the coaching staff to identify and train potential athletes for the 2016 WBSC Junior Men’s World Softball Championship, which will take place July 22-30, 2016 in Midland, Michigan. A Final Selection Camp will take place in June, 2016 prior to the World Championship.
