Game #3: Sooke Sox (BC1) 0 vs. NL Midgets 8 (5-Innings)
The NL Midgets improved their record to 3-0 with a 8-0 (5-inning) win over Sooke Sox (BC1) Monday morning at the 2010 Midget Boys Canadian Fastpitch Championship in Stratford, Ontario.
The NL Midgets jumped out to an early lead with five runs in the Bottom of the 1st Inning and added three more in the Bottom of the 2nd Inning and went on to end the game 8-0 in 5-Innings.
Mark Power picked up his second win of the tourney, throwing 4-Innings of 1-hit ball, while walking four and striking out six.
Shane Boland and Ryan Kirk led the way offensively, as both players were a perfect 2-for-2.

The NL Midgets dropped a 11-2 decision to the Oshawa BB’s (ON1) Monday night at the 2010 Midget Boys Canadian Fastpitch Championship in Stratford, Ontario.
With the loss, the NL Midgets are now 3-1 after two days of play.
