Gosse Hits 100th Career Home Run
Ward Gosse (Bull & Finch Bar & Grill) hit his 100th Career Home Run Tuesday night at Lions Park in an 8-1 win over Kelly’s Pub Junior Canadians. Sitting on 99 Career Home Runs, Gosse came to the plate in the Top of the 6th Inning and hit a 2R Home Run off left-hander Jeremy Hickey to reach the 100 Home Run Plateau.
Gosse hit his 1st Career Home Run on Saturday, August 23rd, 1986 as his Junior 50’s defeated Capt. Quik 7-0. His 1st Career Home Run came in the 4th Inning, a Solo Home Run, off right-hander Davey Janes.
Gosse hit his 50th Career Home Run on Monday, July 2nd, 2001 as his Fog City Brewers dropped a 6-3 decision to Molson Green Sleeves. Sitting on 49 Career Home Runs, Gosse wasted little time in reaching the 50 Home Run Plateau as his 50th Career Home Run came in the 1st Inning, a 2R Home Run, off right-hander George Pomroy.
