Softball NL ID Camps (U14 & U16 Boy’s & Girl’s)

Softball Newfoundland Labrador (Softball NL) is pleased to announce that Identification Camps will be held for the U14 & U16 Boy’s & Girl’s 2020 Provincial (All-Star) Teams to select a pool of athletes to participate in the Softball NL High Performance Program.

The intent is to train in the off-season so as to better prepare Provincial teams for the 2020 National Championships. The progress of selecting Head Coaches for the U14 & U16 Boy’s & Girl’s 2020 Provincial (All-Star) Teams is underway and Softball NL are aiming to announce the successful candidates late this week.

There will be two 2-hour ID Sessions for each of the four teams. The first one will be Sunday, September 29 at the Techniplex in St. John’s from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Softball NL will announce the 2-hour time slots for each of the four groups once the Head Coaches have been selected.

The second sessions will be held in October with Date, Time & Location – To Be Determined. The total Fee for Camp ID is $50.00.

As part of the ID Camp on September 29, Softball NL is pleased to announce that former Canadian Olympic Head Coach, Mike Renney (see Bio below) and Team NL’s Women’s Head Coach and Team NL’s Women’s 2021 Canada Games Head Coach, Andrea Wolf will be assisting in the Camps on September 29.

Softball NL are asking all Associations/Teams to circulate the Registration – Medical Form to your members.
