JUNIOR MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM POOL COACHES
An exciting opportunity exists to join Softball Canada in the role of Pool Coach in the Junior Men’s National Team Program. The Pool Coaches will work closely with the Junior Men’s Head Coach in the pursuit of a podium result at the 2012 ISF Junior Men’s World Championship (scheduled for November 1-10, 2012 in Argentina) while contributing, through their engagement, to the physical, psychological and social development of each athlete.
To be considered for the position, candidates should possess:
•International/Elite softball playing or coaching experience;
•Advanced technical knowledge in the areas of Hitting, Pitching, Infield and/or Outfield play;
•Strong Communication Skills;
•The ability to work effectively in a “Team oriented environment”;
•Available to attend the 2012 World Championships and lead-up events/scouting assignments
•Must possess a valid passport;
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
Certification at Level 3 (or higher) under the National Coaching Certification Program or the equivalent experience is required.
