Kelly’s Pub Junior Canadians Golden In 2009
The Kelly’s Pub Junior Canadians defeated Nova Scotia Murphy’s Fish and Chips 4-2 Sunday afternoon to capture the 2009 Canadian Junior Men’s Fastpitch Championship in Owen Sound, ON (Duncan McLellan Park).

Kelly’s Pub Junior Canadians opened the scoring in the Bottom of the 1st Inning when CF Brad Ezekiel hit a 2R HR. NL would add another run in the Bottom of the 3rd Inning when C Ryan Boland’s hit scored Brad Ezekiel. Nova Scotia Murphy’s Fish and Chips replied with a single run in the Top of the 4th Inning when Bobby Sill hit a Solo HR. Kelly’s Pub would increase their lead to 4-1 in the Bottom of the 5th Inning on a Ryan Boland Solo HR. Nova Scotia Murphy’s Fish and Chips would add another run in the Top of the 7th Inning on a Solo HR off the bat of John Gunn, but that would be as close as they would get on this day, as NL come away with the 4-2 win and the 2009 Canadian Junior Men’s Fastpitch Championship!
