NL Summer Games Regional Teams Announced
Softball NL are proud to announce that softball will once again be played at the 2016 Newfoundland Labrador Summer Games in Conception Bay South from August 17-21.
Regional Teams are as follows:
Male Softball (U14)
St. John’s/North – Goulds
Mount Pearl/South – Southern Shore Crush
Avalon – Carbonear (Avalon 1) & Placentia (Avalon 2)
Eastern – Clarenville
Host – Conception Bay South
Note: Carbonear defeated Placentia and Conception Bay Central to win the Avalon Boys Softball Qualifier. Softball NL have been given permission to enter a second team from the Avalon Region.
Female Softball (U16)
St. John’s/North – Shea Heights
Mount Pearl/South – Southern Shore Crush
Avalon – Conception Bay Central
Central – Gander
Western – Western Wildcats
Host – Conception Bay South
