Premier’s Athletic Award: Healey

 

The 2014-15 Premier’s Athletic Awards were presented Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Holiday Inn in St. John’s, NL. Close to 120 recipients were provided grants of $500, $1,000, and $1,500 to assist with the costs of training and competition at the elite level.

 

Softball’s Eric Healey (Chapel’s Cove) was amongst the 119 recipients to receive the 2014-2015 Premier’s Athletic Award.

 

Softball NL Would Like To Congratulate Eric Healey On Being Named A 2014-2015 Premier’s Athletic Award Recipient.

 

Healey enjoyed a great year on the Softball Diamond in 2014. He represented NL at the U18 Nationals and the U21 Nationals and represented Canada at the ISF Junior Men’s World Championships.

 

At the conclusion of the 2014 season, he was named Softball NL Junior Male Player of the Year and was nominated for the SportNL Junior Male Player of the Year.
