Softballers Among Finalists For 2011 Provincial Awards
Softball Newfoundland & Labrador would like to announce that Jason Hill, Jeremy O’Reilly, Jeff Kirk and the St. John’s West Side Charlies Bud Light Men’s Fastpitch Team have been named finalists for the 2011 Provincial Annual Awards.
The Sport NL Stars & Legends Awards Gala will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland in St. John’s.
This year’s event will be Co-Hosted by Jonathan Crowe (CBC News: Here & Now) and Jamie Korab (Real Estate Agent: RE/MAX).
Jason Hill has been named a finalists for the 2011 Senior Male Athlete of the Year. The winner will be presented with the Ferd Hayward Memorial Award.
Jeremy O’Reilly has been named a finalists for the 2011 Junior Male Athlete of the Year. The winner will be presented with the Joe Mullins Memorial Award.
Jeff Kirk has been named a finalists for the 2011 Coach of the Year. The winner will be presented with the John Drinkwater Memorial Award.
St. John’s West Side Charlies Bud Light Fastpitch Team have been named a finalists for the 2011 Team of the Year. The winner will be presented with the Ed Browne Memorial Award.
