This clinic is open to ALL umpires (new and old). During the morning session, attendees will explore the many aspects of the game of Softball by investigating various parts of the rule book: field requirements, regulation games, pitching, fielding, batting, legal base running as well as preventative umpiring techniques. Participants will need to dress warmly for the afternoon session as this will take place outside. The on-field mechanics component will focus on positioning, both plate and base and how to move around the diamond so that you can try to place yourself in the best position to judge a call.
