Softball NL Membership,
With The Latest Wave Of COVID-19 (Omicron Variant) On The Rise, The Provincial Government Announced The Move To Alert Level 4 And Effective 12:01am January 04, 2022 Under Restrictions, More Specifically, Under Recreational Activities – That All Group, Team Sport And Recreation Activities Are Suspended.
As Stated In The Past, When Government Announces COVID-19 Alert Levels, Provincial Sport Organizations Await More Specific Sport Guidance From Sport NL. Sport NL Is The Conduit With Public Health And They In Turn Provide Further Overall Guidance For Sport And Recreation. This Process Has Proven To Be Effective And More Of The Same Is Expected Moving Forward. It Is Anticipated That The Next Announcement Will Be On January 17, 2022.
All Decisions That Have Been Made To This Point Have Been Made With Everyone’s Health And Safety In Mind And That Has Been Consistent From Day 1 And Will Continue To Be The Case Moving Forward.
