St. John’s Athlete of the Year Award Winners Announced
The 2015 St. John’s Molson-Coors Awards were handed out Wednesday night at the E.B. Foran Room at City Hall.
Softball’s Sean Cleary was named Male Athlete of the Year, while Soccer’s Malorie Harris was named Female Athlete of the Year and Softball’s Galway Hitmen was named Team of the Year.
MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER: SEAN CLEARY (SOFTBALL)
Finalists: Josh Hancott (Powerlifter) & Liam Hickey (Wheelchair Basketball & Sledge Hockey).
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER: MALORIE HARRIS (SOCCER)
Finalists: April Drake (Ball Hockey) & Samantha Marsh (Air Rifle).
TEAM OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER: GALWAY HITMEN (SOFTBALL)
Finalists: Gushue Rink (Curling) & Hayley Barrett & Samantha Marsh (Air Rifle).
