RE: Softball NL Sanctioned Programs/Activities Suspended Until May 31

Softball NL Membership,
Based on the most recent recommendation from Softball Canada, Softball Newfoundland Labrador Has Extended The Suspension Of All Softball NL Sanctioned Programs/Activities Until May 31. This includes all Coaching Courses, High Performance Camps, Skills Camps, Umpires Clinics And Other Scheduled Programming And Meetings. A decision on further suspension or reinstatement of Programs/Activities will be made by May 21.

We also strongly encourage Associations/Teams at the Community and/or Club levels to extend the suspension of Programs/Activities until May 31.

We are confident that as we collectively work together that we will get through this COVID-19 pandemic. Under normal circumstances, decisions are not always easy and the decisions made are not always supported, but we are confident that decisions that are made with everyone’s health and safety in mind are not only easy decisions, but they are supported decisions. We have stated from Day 1 that everyone’s health and safety is paramount and that hasn’t changed or will not change moving forward.
