Softball Canada Announces 2023 U23 Men’s National Team Core Players
Ottawa, Ont. – Softball Canada and the U23 Men’s National Team coaching staff are pleased to announce eleven (11) athletes who have been selected as core players who will represent Team Canada at the U23 WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup. The tournament will be played April 15-23, 2023, in Parana, Argentina.
As per the U23 Men’s National Team Selection Criteria, the coaching staff will select the remaining athletes by March 1 to form its 16 athlete World Cup roster.
Team Canada was awarded a wild card spot in December to participate in the tournament and will join the 11 other countries who qualified for the event through continental qualifiers held in 2022.
