Executive Director

Softball NL are extremely excited to be moving into a new era in sports leadership. We’re seeking an energetic, visionary, enthusiastic, and competitive leader who has a ‘passion’ for sport and recreation to work closely with our elected Board of Directors as Executive Director and become an integral part of the Softball NL team.

The individual we are seeking must have a degree or diploma in sport/recreation or business plus five years progressive experience (or equivalent) in a senior management position – preferably recreation & sport. The successful candidate must have demonstrated proven leadership and must have enjoyed success in the past position(s) held. The critical responsibilities for this position are as follows: to work closely with the Executive Committee & President of Softball NL, Financial Management, Public Relations, Grant Funding applications, Progressive Leadership,  Strategy and ‘day to day’’ oversight and Operational Management, Human Resources and Hiring, and Policy Development.

A valid driver’s license is required, and the successful candidate must be able to produce a clean ‘certificate of conduct’ from the RNC or RCMP. Three (3) professional references must accompany your Resume/CV, as well.  All persons interviewed will be notified of the result of the competition once a selection is made. Applications must be received by 4:00 pm Friday, August 22, 2025.  Interviews will take place the week of September 15, 2025.

Salary Range:

The general salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 annually, and a contract (and final salary) will be worked out between the successful candidate and Softball NL.
