Important Reminders
To All Minor Associations and Club Teams Planning To Be Register With Softball NL In 2012.
Saturday, June 30th, 2012
– Notify Softball NL which Tournaments you PLAN to enter.
– Deadline to Register for Mite BALLISTIC Tournament. Included with Registration Form and Fee MUST be the ORIGINAL Certificates of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Clearances (issued by RNC or RCMP within the previous 6 months) for ALL Volunteers who will be a part of your team, and the Coach Certification Numbers for members of your Coaching Staff. Teams that do not meet the 2 week deadline will not be included on the schedule when released.
Friday, July 6th, 2012
– Deadline for Associations/Club Teams to Affiliate. Please note that you may add players/members after this date, however the Association Registration Form and Affiliation Fees MUST be paid by this date.
FOR ALL SOFTBALL NL PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENTS
– Registration for All Tournaments must be received by the Softball NL Office no later than 2 WEEKS prior to the Tournament (please refer to the Tournaments Section).
– Included with Registration Form and Fees MUST be the ORIGINAL Certificates of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Clearances (issued by RNC or RCMP within the previous 6 months) for ALL Volunteers who will be a part of your team, and the Coach Certification Numbers for members of your coaching staff. Teams that do not meet the 2 week deadline will not be included on the schedule when released 7 days prior to the start of the tournament.
REMINDER TO ALL ASSOCIATIONS/CLUB TEAMS THAT ALL CORRESPONDENCE IS TO BE EMAILED TO SOFTBALL NL BOARD EMAIL softball@sportnl.ca AND NOT THE PERSONAL EMAIL OF INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS. EMAIL WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE APPROPRIATE BOARD MEMBER WHEN RECEIVED. DUE TO THE HIGH NUMBER OF EMAILS RECEIVED BY SOFTBALL NL, ASSOCIATION PRESIDENTS ARE ASKED TO INFORM COACHES THAT INQUIRIES SHOULD FIRST BE DIRECTED TO ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT (OR DESIGNATE) RATHER THAN SOFTBALL NL. IF FURTHER INFORMATION IS REQUIRED, THE PRESIDENT (OR DESIGNATE) SHOULD FEEL FREE TO CONTACT SOFTBALL NL.
