Aboriginal Coaching Clinic

Softball Saskatchewan and Softball Canada are co-hosting an Aboriginal Coaches Clinic on May 27-29, 2011 in Saskatoon, SK.

Presenters will include Softball Canada’s National Team coaches and athletes: Don Bates (Senior Men’s Head Coach), Mark Smith (Senior Women’s Head Coach), Dave Paetkau (Senior Women’s Assistant Coach) and Jen Yee (Senior Women’s player).

The clinic will be a combination of classroom and on the field practical sessions. While the final agenda is still to be completed, hitting and pitching will be two topics covered. The clinic will start on Friday evening, continue all day Saturday and finish up at Noon on Sunday.

This clinic is open to aboriginal coaches only. There will be no registration fee to attend the clinic. However, coaches are responsible to cover their own travel to the clinic and their accommodations while at the clinic.
