Betty Was A Huge Softball & Hockey Supporter And She Will Definitely Be Missed At The Softball Fields And Hockey Rinks.

Sheppard, Elizabeth Kathrine “Betty” – It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear sister, Elizabeth Kathrine Sheppard (B.N., R.N.), nurse at the Janeway Child Health Centre, on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in Florida, U.S.A. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Pearl Sheppard. Leaving to mourn sisters: Linda, Daphne (Randy Randell), Judy (Perry Neary) and Heather; brothers: Harvey Jr. (Patsy), David, Gordon, Wayne (Delories); uncle Nathan Sheppard (St. John’s); aunt Sadie Chaffey (Gander); two nieces, and eight nephews; as well as special co-workers/friends at the Janeway Hospital. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service from The Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 1 Cornwall Crescent, St. John’s at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Floral tributes gratefully accepted or charitable donations in Betty’s memory may be made to the the Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter, or to a charity of one’s choice.
