IMPORTANT REMINDER
Slo-Pitch Rules
1. No longer be a 6 ft arc.
2. The strike zone in slo-pitch will now reflect that of fast pitch. It is still Slo-pitch so pitchers will not be allowed to sling-shot etc.
3. Third strike Foul rule is now eliminated.
4. Commitment line is eliminated. Runner must touch home plate (no automatic force play).
5. It is 10 players on the field in all divisions.
ALL RULE CHANGES WERE APPROVED BY THE MEMBERSHIP IN MARCH 2010 AT THE MINOR MEETING
Softball NL and its members want slo-pitch to mimic fast pitch as much as possible. This will cut down on confusion for kids/coaches and hopefully increase the amount of kids playing fastpitch!
