Marketing and Communications
Position Overview
Softball Newfoundland Labrador (Softball NL), the provincial sport governing body for amateur softball, is seeking a student to assist with marketing and communications tasks affiliated with the hosting of the Canadian Men’s Championships during the 2022 summer season.
Duties
Working remotely, and reporting directly to the Executive Director of Softball NL, the duties of the
summer student will include but are not necessarily limited to:
1. Website maintenance and design
2. Marketing of programs and services
3. Posting, interacting and monitoring social media channels.
Qualifications and Remuneration
The ideal candidate would be highly organized, an effective communicator and a self-starting individual.
This is a 35 hr/wk position for a total of 8 weeks, beginning July 4th , 2022, at a rate of $18.50 per hour.
Funding provided via the Canada Student Summer jobs program.
