3 Newfoundlanders Participating At 2017 Pan American Championship
Kyle Ezekiel (Holyrood), Jason Hill (St. John’s) & Jeremy O’Reilly (Placentia) are representing Canada at the 2017 Pan American Men’s Softball Championship from September 15-24 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The event will feature a total of sixteen teams from the WBSC Americas region, divided into two sections of eight teams. Canada’s section includes the Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and Panama.
This event will serve as a qualifier for the 2019 Pan American Games in Peru, with the Top 5 teams earning berths to the event.
John Hill (St. John’s) and Les Howey (Conception Bay) are Assistant Coaches with the Men’s National Team.
