Applications For Coaching Positions (2011 ECSC)
Softball Newfoundland and Labrador is now accepting applications for the position of Head Coach for the following Provincial All-Star Teams that will represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the respective 2011 Eastern Canadian Softball Championships in late August:
Pee-Wee (14-U) Girls (Quebec)
Bantam (16-U) Boys (Newfoundland & Labrador)
Bantam (16-U) Girls (Quebec)
Midget (19-U) Boys (Nova Scotia)
Softball Newfoundland and Labrador will also accept applications from individuals interested in being considered for Assistant Coach and Team Manager positions. Applicants should complete the same application as those applying for Head Coaching positions and also highlight qualifications (i.e. certifications, teams coached including other sports, etc.) that may be relevant to the position they are applying for.
The minimum qualifications for any coaching position is fully certified NCCP Level 1 with a willingness to complete the Level 2 certification in 2011 as well as other professional development opportunities. Experience coaching in a high level Provincial sports program is an asset, although not mandatory depending on other qualifications.
